Nomenclature: Pallet coupler

A durable connector designed to join 2–3 HCU-6/E 463L pallets for transporting oversized cargo by air. Made from cast aluminum with plated steel hardware, it requires two couplers per pallet pair. Square couplers are used with aircraft equipped with the 463L cargo handling system, while rectangular couplers are designed for KC-10 and DC-10 aircraft.
